This pillarbox red dress is named after the Hammersmith Palais, an iconic dance hall in London that was popular throughout the midcentury era. Because of that inspiration, the Palais dress is designed to be easy to move in so you can get your jive on! Ideal for events with plenty of grooving, like Twinwood festival, due to its comfortable fit.

Like all our Socialite pieces, the Palais is copied from a real vintage garment. Its features include:

• Voluminous flutter sleeves that won't restrict arm movement and will look great in motion.
• A rounded panel in the center of the bodice creates gathering across the bust for a flattering shape.
• Shoulder yokes on the back of the dress.
• Flattering fit and flare skirt.
• Shallow V-neck cut.
• Invisible zip fastening at the back.

The Palais is made of a soft, smooth and stretchy fabric for maximum comfort. The exact fabric composition is 95% polyester and 5% elastane.

We recommended washing the Palais separately at 30 degrees.

Our first model, Alice (white fascinator hat), is 5ft 3 and wears a UK 10. Our second model, Daisy (black clutch bag), is 5ft 5 and wears a UK 12.
